  • Child Abuse Prevention Month Committee Member
    One of the key ways 90by30 connects with individuals and groups is through Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAPM), which takes place every year in April. 90by30 staff and volunteers, in conjunction with local partners and the Regional Leadership Teams, coordinates CAPM activities (including pinwheel gardens, guest speakers, and potential art components), a "Get Involved" website (www.getinvolvedlanecounty.org), and other projects. Members can also choose to focus on one of these projects by joining a subcommittee. Commitment: Monthly. Minimum Hours: 6-8 per month.

  • Conference Committee Member
    90by30's annual child abuse prevention conference is the main venue through which we disseminate the latest information about prevention and the work of 90by30. The conference is primarily planned, staffed, and evaluated by the conference committee, which is composed of 90by30 staff and/or volunteers, community members, and representatives from social service organizations and other groups. The conference committee meets August through April to organize all aspects of the event and outreach. Commitment: Monthly. Minimum Hours: 6-8 per month for 10 months.

  • Regional Leadership Team Member
    90by30's work is organized through seven teams representing the different regions of Lane County. Each team is responsible for making key decisions about child abuse prevention strategies and their implementation in the community. These decisions are based on surveys, a process of asset mapping to evaluate community resources, and the determination by team members of the strategies that best fit their area. Teams typically meet for two hours each month and are also responsible for raising half the required funds needed to implement their area's prevention strategies. Commitment: 1 year. Minimum Hours: 6-8 per month.

  • Media Reviewer
    90by30 must be aware of what is going on locally and nationally that relates to child abuse and neglect in order to respond appropriately and quickly to relevant news as well as to highlight useful or interesting content related to children and families. Media reviewers will monitor local and national media outlets, including local newspapers, news radio, and TV news, as well as related blogs, for content that could be used on our Facebook page, e-letter, or Instagram account. Commitment: Weekly. Minimum Hours: 1-2 per week or 6 per month.

  • Photographer
    The 90by30 website and other published materials are the number-one way the organization stays in contact with the 90by30 community and the larger world. Advertisements, social media posts, and printed documents for community engagement must contain compelling visuals. There is an ongoing need for photographers/videographers to document our events, our team members at work, and community events. Photo and/or video editing skills are also a plus. Commitment: Intermittent/project-based.

  • Social Media Team Member
    The social media team will be made up of three volunteers who will assist in implementing a social communication strategy that supports 90by30's goal of altering social norms surrounding child abuse. Social media volunteers will contribute to the maintenance of the Facebook and Instagram accounts and meet bi-monthly. During conference season (August through March), the team will expand to include two more members to form the Social Media Subcommittee. This subcommittee will meet monthly and work on assigned tasks outside regular meeting times. It will also work closely with the Child Abuse Prevention Month Social Media Team. Commitment: Weekly. Social Media Team Minimum Hours: 2 per week. Conference Social Media Subcommittee Minimum Hours: 4 per week.
